Chin Up: Ramsey has had a tough year

The recession has had quite an effect on Gordon Ramsey. He, along with his business partner/Father-In Law have injected millions of their own money into the business. Talking of injections, the top British Chef has admitted to having filler injections into his deep fallowed chin. This, apparently on the advice of the one and only Simon Cowell. Maybe he should of had another part of his anatomy corrected so he wasn’t such a big cock. Only joking!

Ramsey is one of the top chefs in Britain. But I think he has got to be careful. Too much exposure on the T.V in ‘entertainment’ programmes based on food rather that food programmes giving entertainment could be his downfall. It dilutes his stature and reputation. Sure, it’s a money spinner but is it also about credibility amongst your peers and the public.

Sir! The Health & Safety Executive have arrived.

I was going to use the words..you won’t believe this..but then I thought, haven’t we heard such crap time and time again from wet, ‘ban the bomb’, politically correct beaureacratic namby pambys.

Apparently the school in question is Wood End School in Harpenden. The same school which, a few months ago, had banned football from the playground in fear that children might get hurt. It’s the Health and Saftey you see…you can’t be too careful.

Anyway, back to the cake fiasco. Apparently bringing cakes in on birthdays has being happening for years.

Yes, that is what some children think.

I was watching Countryfile on BBC1 tonight. It was focusing on the farms that encourage children and families to visit. To interact with the animals. Get to know what a pig looks like, what a goat smells like and that a cow isn’t just a name their Dad calls their Mum.

But lately there have been several e.coli outbreaks and some children have fallen ill. E.coli is not nice for anyone..nasty! The farms do have hand washing facilities at various posts throughout the farm but young children do tend to put their hands in their mouths.
