Planes, Trains and Automobiles – Why Labour will lose the Election

The saying ‘give them enough rope and they’ll hang themselves’ crossed my mind this morning.
The Unions are throwing their weight around just at a time when they would be best advised to shut up and be grateful that their employees still have jobs. On top of that petrol prices are creeping towards a new high.
As the Royal Mail strike threat recedes (for now), the UNITE Cabin Crew strike at British Airways started today and the militant leaders of the RMT Union are starting their annual rutting roars. To win a industrial dispute or indeed an election you need public support and the British public do not currently have the stomach or much sympathy to put up with whinging workers. Thousands have lost their jobs, thousands have taken pay cuts and many more thousands of jobs are currently being artificially supported by Labours huge public borrowing.
